« This home has exceeded all of our expectations- we are on an absolute high after our visit. We received such a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. 

The windmill itself is so unique, full of and very well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable, with a huge fan on the ceiling in the main bedroom which allowed us to have a comfortable sleep even in the intense heat of August. Lovely spacious bathroom, with excellent powerful shower- everything is to such a high and clean standard...fluffy towels too! 

Fantastic long 15m pool- we even managed to get some good exercise this holiday. Poolside seating area, kitchen and bathroom were all so handy and we spent many afternoons making meals and relaxing in luxury. 

The area itself is so peaceful, but plenty to do in the surrounding picturesque areas, we hiked, biked and swam in beautiful rivers. It is also just a short drive to some beautiful bustling towns/villages. We were given so many recommendations! We will be back x »

"We spent New Year's Eve together at Petra's. The place is superb, and we slept very well in the beautifully renovated mill. In the evening, we enjoyed the carefully heated Nordic bath. It was a wonderful experience to relax in 40°C water on the last night of the year! In the morning, we opted for the breakfast option, which was very good and plentiful. Pastries, bread, butter, jams, fruit, and homemade yogurt were all delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Afterwards, we took the route recommended by our host to Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, which was indeed magnificent. Thank you again for your hospitality."

We are now Accueil Vélo and our gîte is located 3,5 km from Saint-Jean-de-Laur which is on the 

Figeac-Lalbenque section. Here is the Menu Accueil Vélo 2 people.

We now have a type 2 charging station for electric vehicles at a rate of €0.49/kWh.

Since July 2026, we are producing green electricity with our solar panels.

For security to everyone we now have a defibrillator in case of cardiac arrest.
